BIAPT 2009 Conference

Public Theology: Dialogue in the Public Square
14th – 16th July, 2009 at Ushaw College, Durham

Our annual conference this year will be exploring the contribution of Practical Theology to public affairs. As the conference title suggests, the dialogical method intrinsic to Practical Theology will be a major emphasis. Our keynote speakers will be unpacking different aspects and coming from a variety of perspectives. We believe that with their contributions, delegates' questions and comments, and our regular rich mix of short papers, this will be a rewarding and challenging conference.

We extend a warm invitation to BIAPT members and to any practitioner, student, teacher or researcher who would like to consider this theme with us. The friendliness, extended especially to newcomers, is a strong feature of BIAPT conferences so we're sure you'll quickly feel at home amongst us especially if you're a first-timer.
