BIAPT 2019 Student Day Conference
BIAPT’s next Student Day Conference will be from 10am to 4.30pm on Saturday 4 May 2019 at Queen’s Theological College, Birmingham.

In the morning, Professor Elaine Graham, Grosvenor Research Professor at the University of Chester, will deliver a workshop entitled Harnessing the wisdom of practice: method, theory and research, which will explore the vital dynamic interplay of practice and theological reflection.
Work-in-progress paper presentations
After lunch, work-in-progress papers will be presented by delegates. The deadline for submitting abstracts to be considered for presentation is Monday 25 February 2019.
Conference fees
The cost of the day is as follows:
BIAPT members: £26 for waged, £17 for unwaged;
non-BIAPT members: £32 for waged, £22 for unwaged
Accommodation
It is possible that there will be a limited supply of overnight accommodation at Queen’s on the night of Friday 3 May. If attending the conference will be made easier for you by staying the night before, please contact the BIAPT student representative, Monica McArdle, directly by email and she will give you the details of how to make the booking with Queen’s.
Queen’s Theological College is less than a 10 minute walk from University train station which has a frequent connection to Birmingham New Street, taking about 15 minutes.
